Why Waukee CabinetWorks?

Showroom

Choosing to remodel any part of your home is a big commitment. No matter where you purchase your cabinetry and countertops from, you want to make sure you are getting a quality product from a company you can trust. Check out our frequently asked questions below and feel free to reach out if you still have more questions!

Why should I consider purchasing cabinetry from Waukee CabinetWorks?

When you work with Waukee CabinetWorks, you are working with a team of professionals that is passionate about cabinetry and design. We love what we do! We take great pride in working with our clients and helping them realize their dream space. We do not take for granted the opportunity you have given us to work with you! After all, a new kitchen or bathroom is something you get to experience once or maybe twice in a lifetime!

Can I afford Custom Cabinetry?

Indeed, custom-built cabinets require a larger investment, and for a good reason. However, we prefer to focus heavily on working within our clients budget and will not waste your time or ours trying to sell you full custom when we have so many other options to offer that can meet most budgets. Check out our “Custom Where It Counts” options!

Do you install the cabinetry?

We do not provide installation services, but we do recommend and work closely with a shortlist of highly experienced installers that know our products and expectations. Due to the technical level that some installations require, we strongly suggest using our installers. The quality of the cabinet installation makes a significant difference in both final appearance and how the cabinetry functions and stands up over time. Nobody cares more about a smooth, trouble-free installation of your new WCW cabinetry than our recommended installers. We also work closely with and recommend some of the areas best general contractors if the cabinetry is part of a larger remodel.

If you are already working with an installer or general contractor, or you are a home builder already working with a finish carpenter, we will be happy to provide them with all the same documentation, advice and communication we give our installers to ensure your project is a success.

Do you have a showroom?

We do have a showroom in Waukee that opened in the fall of 2018. This showroom displays much of what we have to offer and inspire you while keeping overhead down and our prices as low as possible. Our designers utilize technology, physical samples, photography and even visits to a previously completed project to assist you in making your selections without feeling overwhelmed with everything we have to offer. Our customers often comment on enjoying the experience of visiting our facility when making selections.

Do you sell to builders or remodelers?

Absolutely. Our product lines are a great fit for home builders or remodelers. The flexibility offered within the products we provide gives our professional customers a full range of choices for their customers that is hard to match. We also offer many unlisted services that other cabinet dealers can't provide. We are a one-stop-shop for many contractors seeking moldings, unfinished doors and cabinets, specialty hardware, custom finishes, drawer boxes and a long list of fabrication capabilities to increase project quality and efficiency. We will work as hard as you do, exceeding your client's expectations!

Do you provide countertops?

Yes. We work with trusted fabricators in our area to provide you with the full range of choices available. Granite, Marble, Quartz, Solid Surface, Wood, and laminate are all within your reach. Every brand name. Every material.

Do you reface cabinets?

In the few cases where a reface is warranted, we certainly can. You’ll be surprised how close the costs are for new cabinets vs. refacing. Contact us about your project to see if refacing is a cost-effective option for you. We also provide refacing materials and instruction to those who want to go DIY!

Do you provide electrical, HVAC or plumbing work for projects?

No. These trades generally require a properly licensed contractor and special permits. If your project requires the services of these professionals, we will be happy to refer you to trusted companies. We recommend the services of a general contractor to help manage your project if it requires these trades.

Choosing the right cabinets and countertops for your home can be an overwhelming process, so we want to make it as easy for you as we can! If you still have questions, contact us at (515) 310-1070 or schedule an appointment with one of our designers!
