Bathroom Trends We Can't Get Enough Of

Design trends are always changing. The feature that was considered "trendy" a couple years ago may be considered outdated now. We have put together a list of the current bathroom trends that we see the most and that we cannot get enough of.

Floating Vanities

Installing a floating vanity in your bathroom actually does more to your space than you probably realize. From a simple style standpoint, if you choose to install flooring that you want to show off, it allows you to completely show it off in the entire bathroom, as the flooring will easily continue below the vanity. From a practical standpoint, the vanity can be installed at any height, which means if you have someone on the taller side in your family, you can install the vanity at a higher point on the wall to accommodate them. If you have someone on the shorter side, you can install it at a lower point, or you can store stools underneath the vanity to accommodate their needs. One of the biggest advantage we see is that floating vanities help make the bathroom appear larger than it actually is. The floating aspect gives the room a lighter and softer appearance as opposed to a chunky appearance, which can make the room look smaller and tighter, making these the perfect vanity option for a small bathroom.

Pops of Color

One of the coolest bathroom trends we have seen is adding pops of color to the space. This can be done by either adding a statement wall or even adding a little color to your vanity. Adding color to your vanity is a great way to add some personality into your bathroom, especially if you bathroom is a little on the smaller side. If your walls are already painted a more neutral color, why not replace your current vanity with something a little more vibrant? It's a great way to spark a conversation and, chances are, you will not get bored with the space.

Brass Hardware

Choosing hardware for any area of your home can be overwhelming, no matter which area of the home you are working on. You have to consider, price, style, color and more. In years past, we have seen many people opt for the nickel look for their hardware accessories. Now, however, we have seen the trend go in a different direction. Many people have now started to add brass hardware into the mix of hardware accessories in their bathroom. Besides style, there are many benefits to choosing brass hardware for your bathroom.

Let's talk style. If you are wanting to go for a more vintage look in your bathroom, choosing brass is a no-brainer. Installing brass hardware will leave an unbeatable impression on your guests that you can't beat. In addition to style, if you are looking for something that does not require a lot of effort in the cleaning department, look no further than brass. All you have to do to clean it is take a damp cloth over it. It also does not tarnish, so you will be sure to enjoy your brass hardware for years to come.

Accessories

We are all about making your life simpler, which is why we offer an abundance of cabinet accessories for your bathroom. One of our most popular bathroom accessories is a pullout hamper. This keeps your clothes off the floor and completely out of sight. Once you are done using it, simply push it back in and close the door. Pullout hampers make cleaning up easy and make you feel organized.

In addition to pullout hampers, another trend we see is pullout cabinets for cleaning supplies. Installing pullout shelves means you are doing a lot less bending over and digging around for the right product, which means you are getting your cleaning done a lot faster. Open Storage

Open storage is continuing to become more and more trendy, whether you are in the kitchen or in the bathroom. Many people are opting to install a vanity in their bathrooms that includes both open shelving and closed cabinets. This is a simple look that you can put in your bathroom that will still provide a lot of depth. Some people think that it is a bold move to put open shelving in your bathroom, but as long as you keep it organized, it is a great look. There are so many different things you can put on your shelves, whether it's actual decorations, lotion, towels, the list goes on and on. Installing open shelves in your bathroom allows you to show off your personal design style to the rest of the world, so why wouldn't you want to add them to your bathroom?
